Based on three, one-day participative forums, this ITC report examines the importance of regulation in a multimedia world; setting a framework for content restriction; editorial integrity, fairness, impartiality and accuracy; and whether all TV channels and radio should be treated the same. On news, the forums confirmed the findings of previous studies that TV news is the most trusted, but also raised criticisms of the intrusiveness of TV news. Regarding partiality, people wanted a balance of views with an individual programme.
