What can you do to challenge the news?
If you want to make a formal complaint about something in a newspaper or magazine (in print or online) you should contact the Press Complaints Commission.
If you want to make a complaint about something you have seen, heard or read on the BBC, you can go to the BBC complaints website.
For complaints about any other broadcasters (ITV, Channel 4 etc.) you should make your complaint to the Office of Communications (OFCOM).
There is not yet any body regulating the internet (outside the official sites of print newspapers and magazines). If you have complaints about online content you have to contact the site directly.
